Slowburn is starting as a reading journal. It is being built toward something larger, slowly and in the open. This page keeps the two apart.
The romance internet is enormous and mostly loud. Feeds, rankings, hauls, dunks. It can be a joy and it can be exhausting, and it is not built for the part of reading that happens after you close the book and sit there for a while.
Slowburn begins from that quiet part. First it gives you somewhere to put it: a journal that is yours, on your phone, that no one sees unless you decide. Then it lets a few people in, one at a time, so the sitting-there can be shared with someone who was inside the same book.
Find your people, without a crowd finding you.
The larger version is a place where readers find each other by taste rather than by follower count: where a review is something you wrote for readers like you, where a reading identity is something people recognise, where recommendations come from someone whose shelf you trust. That is the direction. It is not built yet, and this page will not pretend otherwise.

None of this exists yet. When any of it does, it will appear on the roadmap first, then here, then in the app. It will be built with the same rules that govern the circle today.
