Creators
Turn your reading taste into something people can follow.
This is where Slowburn is going, not where it is. Read it as a direction.
Every romance reader with a following built it the hard way: a feed, a camera, a schedule, and a taste good enough that people came back. Slowburn already knows your taste in more detail than any feed does, because you told it, one book at a time. The creator direction is to let you turn that into something public, on your terms.
Nothing on this page exists in the app today. Slowburn is a private journal with a circle. The list below is what a creator layer would mean, in the order it would probably arrive, and it will be built through Shape Slowburn like everything else.
- 01
Reader profiles
A page that is yours, built from a reading identity rather than a follower count.
- 02
Pen names
Write under the name you read under. Your journal and your public self stay separate.
- 03
Public reading identities
The thing Slowburn already computes for you, made recognisable to others.
- 04
Reviews
Written for readers like you, findable by readers like you.
- 05
Articles
Longer pieces on the books, tropes and obsessions, alongside the Slowburn Journal.
- 06
Recommendations
From a shelf someone trusts, not from an algorithm.
- 07
Followers and discovery
Find, and be found, by taste.

There is no waitlist form. There is a person.
If you review, recommend or write about romance and would want a home for it here when the time comes, send one email saying who you are and where you read. It goes to the founder, it is not added to any list, and it is the only thing that will ever be done with it: a reply when there is something real to show.
